Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, an album of the game's score by the Grammy-winning French duo Justice. It arrives on December 11 on major streaming services, CD and vinyl, with 30 tracks plus digital bonus material. Rockstar announced it in a Newswire post on October 29 and released a new single the same day: "Pusher", featuring French producer Gesaffelstein. Since then, retailers and IGN have filled in prices and store details.

A score that reacts to how you play

Justice is Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Rockstar calls their GTA 6 work an "adaptive score" that shifts with the different ways players move through Vice City and Leonida during Jason and Lucia's story. This is the music under missions and free roam, not the songs on the in-game radio. IGN España reports that the 30 album tracks are a selection from everything Justice wrote for the game.

Two tracks are out so far. One is "Flower in a Hurricane", the collaboration with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard from the launch trailer. The other is "Pusher". Eurogamer.es points out that Gesaffelstein also appears on the Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack, which suits a neon version of Florida.

Formats, prices and where to buy

Rockstar confirms CD and vinyl pre-orders, including a limited Triple Crystal Clear vinyl, and says the digital bonus tracks come with every format. Outlets describe the physical editions as a double CD and a triple LP. Rockstar hasn't published prices, but retailers have:

EditionRetailerPrice
Triple crystal clear vinylRough Trade$59.99
Triple black vinylRough Trade$54.99
Double CDRough Trade$21.99
Double CDAmazon$19.98
Double CDJustice's store$19.00

The Rough Trade prices come from Brazilian outlet Voxel, which says the store lists the clear pressing as an independent-store exclusive. IGN reports that Amazon sells the black vinyl, while Justice's own storefront carries the limited clear edition. IGN also says the vinyl has a UV gloss finish and the CD comes in a fold-out case with GTA 6 artwork, which matches what Rockstar Intel found in earlier listings.

How long is it?

Rockstar says 30 tracks plus "a number of digital bonus tracks". According to IGN, the Apple Music listing suggests the bonus material brings the total to 50 tracks, which supports Rockstar Intel's earlier report. IGN and Rockstar Intel both put the full score at about three hours. LevelUp disagrees, saying the bonus tracks alone form a three-hour suite. Rockstar hasn't confirmed either the runtime or the track count. Pre-save links are live on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Tidal and Deezer, according to IGN.

Not to be confused with The Album

This is a separate release from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the collection of original songs by artists including Travis Scott, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards (per Eurogamer.es) and Cardi B and Yung Lean (per LevelUp). LevelUp counts 34 tracks and lists it at $19.98 on CD and $124.98 on vinyl. The Album comes out on November 19, the day GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. IGN adds that players who pre-order the game can pre-load it from November 12.

That means the score lands about three weeks after launch, so you'll hear it in Leonida before you can stream it. Rockstar says the Music section of the official GTA 6 site has previews of some in-game radio stations and singles from The Album.

What's next

Rockstar hasn't released the full tracklist or said which tracks are digital bonuses, so expect more details before December 11. Until then, "Pusher" is streaming and pre-orders are open.
