Miami's E11EVEN becomes GTA 6's NINE1NINE club for one night

E11EVEN Miami will become NINE1NINE, its GTA 6 parody from the first trailer, on November 6 with Flo Rida headlining. Rockstar is not involved.

Rumour. An unverified leak or claim. Treat it with caution until Rockstar speaks.

E11EVEN, the downtown Miami nightclub that Grand Theft Auto VI pokes fun at, will rename itself NINE1NINE Vice City for one night on Friday, November 6, with Flo Rida headlining, according to GTA BOOM. The club is calling it the real-world "grand opening" of the fake Vice City venue. In other words, a club that inspired a parody is now throwing a party as the parody.

One thing to be clear on: this is not a Rockstar event. GTA BOOM reports that the party is E11EVEN's own promotion, and that neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive is involved.

Where NINE1NINE came from

The joke goes back to December 2023 and the first GTA 6 trailer. One shot shows a plane over the beach towing a banner for a Vice City nightclub called NINE1NINE, with the tagline "Why Sixty Nine When You Can Nine 1 Nine." Locals got it right away. E11EVEN calls itself a 24/7 "ultraclub," it's known for celebrity performances, and it flies its own advertising banners over South Beach.

The club played along almost immediately. GTA BOOM says that a few days after the trailer dropped, E11EVEN flew a banner of its own reading "When Nine 1 Nine = E11even," and its marketing director, Eddie Franco, said the club took the reference in good fun. The outlet adds that the club has turned up in later trailer footage too.

Event details

Here's what GTA BOOM reports about the night:

  • Date: Friday, November 6, 2026
  • Venue: E11EVEN, 29 NE 11th Street, downtown Miami
  • Headliner: Flo Rida, who grew up in the Miami area
  • Tickets: on sale now through the club, with general admission starting in the mid-$40 range and VIP tables available
  • Rules: 21 and over, upscale dress code, and tickets can't be transferred

GTA BOOM didn't mention any in-game tie-ins, giveaways or Rockstar merchandise, and since the publisher isn't part of the event, fans shouldn't expect any. It's a themed club night built around a game reference, and that's all.

Part of a city-wide Vice City makeover

The timing is no accident. With the game's launch only weeks away (our release date timeline covers how we got here), Miami has been covered in Vice City branding. GTA BOOM lists several of Rockstar's own stunts in the city: a "Welcome to Vice City" sign on the Kaseya Center that it says cost $975,000, a Vice City themed Miami Heat game, beach gear and plane banners over South Beach, modded in-game cars driven on real streets, and crude in-universe ads on kiosks. The outlet also says Miami-Dade County signed a marketing deal after a public fight over it.

E11EVEN's party is different because nobody at Rockstar had to sign off on it. A local business saw that the biggest game of the year had already given it free advertising and decided to cash in. Given how heavily GTA 6 borrows from real Florida culture (see our breakdown of the Florida Man moments behind the trailer), this kind of feedback loop was probably always going to happen.

What's still unknown

The event details come from GTA BOOM's report on the club's promotion. We haven't seen anything from Rockstar about the night, and there's no sign the studio plans to recognise it. Anyone planning to go should check the final lineup, set times and ticket prices directly with E11EVEN before buying.
